Friday night I had the honor of playing lead with the Somers Dream Orchestra for an incredible gig that featured Joe Piscopo singing New York, NY.
The lovely Christine was kind enough to record it and I must say it came out great.

Phil your performance was outstanding as everyone will clearly hear in the attached video clip! There’s no mistaking a Lead Trumpet sound that sizzles! I thought you should know Joe Piscopo complimented me on how great the orchestra sounded! Your playing undoubtfully played a huge part in this performance! Thank you.

If you remember, I was with you at a gig when you were watching the video on your phone. At the same gig, you played the best solo on “My Funny Valentine” I had ever heard! Another musician in the trumpet section just sighed and called it “delicious”. I agree. Keep blowin bother. Lou
